How much does the winner bank? Cognizant Classic prize money 2024
How much does each PGA Tour star take home from PGA National Resort?
It is the new-look Honda Classic in the form of the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches.
Honda’s sponsorship of the event dated back to 1982 and it was a tournament that produced winners such as Rory McIlroy, Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh, and Fred Couples.
The PGA Tour has entered a new dawn in 2024 at PGA National Resort and McIlroy himself will be hoping to hone in his game this week as we approach The Players Championship and the major season.
Daniel Berger, Nick Dunlap, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, Min Woo Lee, Shane Lowry, Tom Kim, Justin Rose, Cameron Young and Robert MacIntyre are all aiming for glory in Florida this week.
The prize fund has increased from $8,100,000, which was the purse in 2023, to $9,000,000 this time around.
The winner will take home a cool $1,620,000 which represents another increase from the $1,512,000 that defending champion Chris Kirk won this time last year.
Let’s take a look at the full rundown of prize money at the 2024 Cognizant Classic…
