What’s in Xander Schauffele’s bag?
Equipment editor Hannah Holden takes a look at the Callaway clubs Xander Schauffele has in his bag this season
Much like his close friend and Ryder Cup partner Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele has become one of the most solid players in world golf.
He burst on to the PGA Tour scene in 2017 by winning the Greenbrier Classic and then the Tour Championship.
Fast forward to 2024 and Schauffele is a seven-time PGA Tour winner and an Olympic gold medallist. That major win alluded him until the 2024 PGA Championship where he finally broke through in one of golf’s biggest events. He doubled up later in the year with a solid victory at the Open Championship.
He has now played twice for the USA at the Ryder Cup and since winning for the first time on the US circuit, Schauffele has become a regular fixture in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings.
At the start of 2024, Schauffele put the new Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond driver into play, and a fairway wood of the same make in the High Launch setting too.
Callaway dominates the middle of Schauffele’s bag with Apex TCB irons, and he rounds off the bag with an Odyssey Toulon Design Las Legas Prototype 7CH putter.
