LIV Golf Miami prize money: How much does the winner earn?
Here is how much each player earned at Trump National Doral…
Many of LIV Golf’s roster were looking to find their form in Miami last week as they prepare to tee it up at the 2024 Masters.
Jon Rahm is the defending champion heading back to Augusta National and last year’s runners-up Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson looked to find their magic before going to Georgia.
It was the LIV Golf Miami event in 2023 that kickstarted Koepka’s run of form which almost saw him win a Green Jacket, but eventually saw him win the PGA Championship for a third time.
Crushers GC, led by captain Bryson DeChambeau, have won two team events so far in 2024. With Paul Casey, Anirban Lahiri and Charles Howell III, this has been the standout team of the opening part of the season.
Trump National Doral was the venue for the fifth LIV Golf event of the season. Abraham Ancer won last time out in Hong Kong and the Mexican nearly saw his Fireballs teammate Sergio Garcia experience success in Florida.
Dean Burmester beat the former Masters champion on the second playoff hole, the third time Garcia has lost a playoff in the LIV Golf League.
The winner in Miami banked $4 million and the winning team had $3 million split between them, so the individual winner could bank up to $4.75 million if they conquered both disciplines. It was Rahm’s Legion XII side that won last week’s team format.
As per usual, the likes of Peter Uihlein, Cameron Smith (who withdrew with injury), Patrick Reed, Harold Varner III, Louis Oosthuizen, Bubba Watson, Richard Bland, Marc Leishman, Branden Grace, Talor Gooch and Matthew Wolff were among the usual suspects teeing it up.
Let’s take a look at the full LIV Golf Miami prize money breakdown…
