Who plays where? Here is every LIV Golf team

There’s been a number of trades among the LIV Golf ranks, as well as a new signing or two, so you need to keep up with who plays for who…

LIV Golf has an extremely different outlook now compared to the first event at Centurion Golf Club in June 2022.

There were no team uniforms, a little uncertainty about how the whole team format would materialise across the season, and how new players being signed mid-season would fit in.

We have 13 teams of four players now and each year, the roster has got stronger and stronger as the Saudi-funded circuit looks to increase its mark on the professional game. In 2026, there will be five wildcard players, too, bringing the total to 57.

Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson, Cameron Smith, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed and Tyrrell Hatton are among the biggest names in the league who have accepted big-money offers to jump from golf’s traditional tours.

Each team has its own identity and its own captain. Each captain owns equity in the team, and in the case of the Majesticks, Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter serve as co-captains.

Identities have developed in some of the teams too. Southern Guards, who used to be called Stingers GC, have four South African players and Ripper GC have four Australian players. It was the Australian foursome, led by Smith, that won the 2024 LIV Golf Team Championship.

At each event in the LIV Golf Schedule, there is a team competition and an individual competition, so each team is keen to recruit the brightest talent possible to finish as high on each leaderboard as possible and to perform their best at the season-ending Team Championship.

Below is a summary of every team in the LIV Golf League, which will be updated if more chops and changes occur.
