Brooks Koepka has become the supreme force of his golfing generation if majors are the deciding factor.

In quite beastly fashion, he burst on to the scene in 2017 by winning the US Open and by the end of the 2019 season, he was a four-time major champion.

Koepka had two US Open titles and two PGA Championship titles and he made it a hat-trick of Wanamaker trophies in 2023 when he beat Viktor Hovland in a memorable battle at Oak Hill.

He won eight times on the PGA Tour before moving to LIV Golf in 2022. He disappointed many golf fans by seemingly taking a nine-figure sum to join the Saudi-funded league at a time when Koepka was concerned his injury-prone body was giving up on him.

Winning his fifth major title one year into his LIV career proved his worries were wrong. By his side for much of his illustrious professional career has been his wife Jena Sims, who golf fans got to know in the Netflix series Full Swing which documented the lives and careers of various professional players.

Let’s get to know Sims and dive into how her relationship blossomed into where we find it today.

Meet Jena Sims

Koepka and Sims reportedly started dating in 2017, the same year he passed the major threshold at the US Open at Erin Hills. They’d initially met at the Masters in 2015 and Sims is said to have enjoyed watching golf when growing up.

Sims celebrated Koepka winning America’s national championship for the first time, so it was then that their relationship became public. Sims was born in Georgia on December 30th, 1988 and she attended Belmont University where she studied International Business.

She became an actress and a model. Sims worked with quite a list of stars including Robert DeNiro and Morgan Freeman. As per her IMDB page (Internet Movie Database), she played a main role in Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader, Las Vegas and Kill the Messenger which also featured Jeremy Renner.

Sims is also known for her charity work with an organisation called Pageant of Hope which looks to empower children that face challenges by instilling their self-confidence.

Sims and Koepka got married on June 4, 2022, and she gave birth to their first child on July 27, 2023. Crew Sims Koepka has been spotted at a few events with Koepka, including being sat in his pram next to his father hitting balls on the driving range at The Open Championship at Royal Troon in 2024.

In the first season of Full Swing, the docu-series that follows professional golfers, viewers were let into the Jupiter mansion of Koepka and Sims where we discovered a little more about the pair of them.
