Step forward the South Korean, who produced a priceless reaction at the Hero World Challenge after discovering his nation had beaten Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal 2-1 to make it through to the knockout stages of football’s biggest competition.
Clearly an avid football fan as well as the PGA Tour’s newest star, here’s what happened when Kim found out his nation had done the impossible in Qatar…
“How did that happen?”
“Oh my god! We beat Portugal?”
“Goosebumps. Literally goosebumps.”
“That’s amazing. That news was probably way better than my golf.”
Sensational stuff from Kim. South Korea now play Brazil in the last 16 of the World Cup, with the 20-year-old no doubt thankful the PGA Tour is having a break in its schedule next week.
