The Masters can throw up some shocking outfits but can also give style a chance to shine.

We run through the winners and losers on Friday at Augusta.

Best dressed

1. Hideki Matsuyama

Hideki Matsuyama

Yes, really. I have a lot of time for Matsuyama’s wardrobe.

It’s a bit 80s and a bit Tron but I love it. It’s quite hard to standout for the right reasons but the Japanese star is in a league of his own.

2. Adam Scott

Adam Scott

This man could put a bin liner on and still look a million dollars.

Clean, classic, simple but Adam Scott is still the one we all secretly, and openly, wished we looked like.

3. Henrik Stenson

Henrik Stenson

See above.

But we’ve seen some shocking Hugo Boss polo’s from Stenson and Kaymer in recent majors.

With the premium black FootJoy Icons to complete the look, the 2016 Open Champion could stroll straight from the Augusta fairways to a shopping spree on Rodeo Drive and not look out of place.

4. Rafa Cabrera Bello

Rafa Cabrera Bello

Few people can pull off most of the outfits in the Spaniard’s wardrobe.

The Ryder Cup star recently re-signed with FootJoy and is very much the poster boy these days.

When I started this job that man was Steve Stricker so it shows which direction the brand has gone in recent years.

Disclaimer: They still sell plain polos and chinos.

5. Justin Thomas

Justin Thomas

This man oozes style in my opinion.

Maybe the shirt and tie was a step too far but it’s rare to see Thomas not looking sharp when out on the course.

Worst dressed

1. Matt Kuchar

Matt Kuchar

We all love Kuch but style is not his strong suit.

Just check out the sponsor logo on his right chest. I think that about sums it up.

2. Jason Day

Jason Day

I’m normally a massive Jason Day fan when it comes to his attire.

But my patience is starting to wear thin. From a distance this looks like some sort of beige gilet with stripy sleeves underneath.

He’s better than this.

3. Jon Rahm

John Rahm

Rahm is the No.3 player in the world but often looks like he’s competing at a secondary school sports day.

He’s young but he’s a long way away from joining Scott and Stenson in the VIP section.

4. Kiradech Aphibarnrat

Kiradech Aphibarnrat

As proved by Matsuyama, you can still stand out without looking like you’re in fancy dress.

5. Yuta Ikeda

Yuta Ikeda

Wouldn’t look out of place on a high rollers’ table in Vegas.

But those trousers are too much.

Anyway, who am I to judge…
