With the cold weather setting in and golfers starting to dig their warmer clothes out of the wardrobe, NCG takes a look at the best winter golf shoes on the market this year.
We’ve also teamed up with FootJoy to give you a chance to win a pair of their winter shoes.
To enter the competition click here.
Each brand was asked to put forward models that can withstand the elements during the winter months, so all the shoes here are waterproof and carry a minimum guarantee of one year.
There was no stipulation that the model had to be spiked as many people still favour a spikeless model for softer courses.
So if you’re in the market for a solid, hard-wearing option this winter, check out all the models featured below…
Best winter golf shoes 2018: FootJoy Tour-S

These have been my go-to shoes on the golf course in 2018.
Extremely stable and comfortable with trainer-like comfort.
I’d recommend the black option for golf in the UK this winter!
SRP: £199

Best winter golf shoes 2018: Ecco Biom Hybrid 3

I have probably worn these shoes more than any other model this year because they are so comfortable to wear off the course.
But they have all the technology you need for the winter months.
Gore-Tex waterproof protection, plenty of grip and some new colour options for the changing season.
SRP: £190

Best winter golf shoes 2018: Under Armour Speith 2

This shoe combines comfort, traction and style.
A marked improvement to the Spieth One as they are much lighter but still offer fantastic grip.
You really fell like you are nicely rooted to the ground in these which is exactly what I’m looking for
SRP: £160

Best winter golf shoes 2018: Puma Ignite Pwradapt Leather

Possibly the most comfortable spiked golf shoes out there.
They feel like slippers but don’t sacrifice on traction at all.
I really like the inner sock which adds comfort and protection from the elements.
SRP: £139.99

Best winter golf shoes 2018: Adidas Adipower 4orged

A really nice, light trainer feel to these.
I’m a big fan of the boost technology for a cushioning and comfort point of view but it will get dirty and can be difficult to clean.
I know for a fact that you can play 36 holes in these and your feet will be ready for more.
SRP: £129.95

Best winter golf shoes 2018: G/Fore Gallivanter

Perfect if you have a tee time at 1pm and a dinner date at 6pm.
Really nice soft leather and excellent cushioning which is surprising for a ‘proper’ leather golf shoe.
Can be worn away from the golf course thanks to a clever soft outsole.
SRP: £149
More information can be found on the G/Fore website.
Best winter golf shoes 2018: FootJoy DryJoys Tour

A timeless classic. If only everything in life was as reliable.
You’ll look really smart but enjoy fantastic traction and protection too.
Possibly the only shoe tested here which would benefit from being ‘broken in’ a couple of times.
SRP: £150
More information can be found on the FootJoy website.
Best winter golf shoes 2018: Ecco Cool Pro

These shoes offer the best of both worlds out on the golf course.
I have found the grip on these a bit better than the Biom Hybrid 3 but the comfort levels are equal.
Fantastic Gore-Tex technology to keep your feet dry but they are still very breathable to stop them getting sweaty.
SRP: £210
