Arccos Golf introduces next generation shot tracking
The pioneer of big data and artificial intelligence in golf, Arccos has launched its latest generation of smart sensors helping to deliver the game’s most accurate shot capture yet.
The latest smart sensors by Arccos, the Gen3+, feature new automatic shot tracking technology powered by A.I. learning which pinpoint a player’s shots more accurately than ever before. The company says it will help golfers improve by better understanding their game.
The advanced technology has been developed over the past three years by Arccos data scientists and engineers, after analysing more than 500 million shots hit using Arccos sensors in 194 countries worldwide.
“Arccos is the world’s #1 automatic shot tracking system and we’ve made it even better with these technological improvements,” said Sal Syed, Arccos CEO and Co-Founder. “Arccos now captures 98% of all tee shots and delivers the most accurate shot tracking experience the game has ever seen.”
Once paired with the Arccos caddie app, golfers receive strokes gained insights for every game aspect and each club in their bag. This enables a clear, personalised picture of which part of the game needs improving. The result is the most complete on-course data tracking and analysis system Arccos have produced to date.
Golfers will receive 13 new smart sensors in the new system, which boast a sleek new design. In addition, the system includes an all-new P3 putter sensor that is 40% smaller and 20% lighter than its predecessor. Designed specifically with pistol grips in mind, the putter sensor fits most standard grips for a seamless shot tracking experience on the greens. Existing Arccos users can purchase the updated putter sensor separately.
Retailing at £179.99, the new smart sensors offer extensive battery life and delivers hands-free, fully automatic shot capture for every club in the bag. All purchases also include a year’s membership.
