What does the World Number 1 have in his bag for 2026? Very much a case of trusting the old and not switching to the new.
Scottie Scheffler cemented his World Number 1 ranking in 2024 with 7 victories – this included The Masters, The Players and Tour Championship.
A change of putter seemed to have made all the difference as he shook of the issue of his putting being the only part of his game letting him down.
That putter change triggered Scheffler returning to his imperious best. He won a second Arnold Palmer Invitational, before going back-to-back-to-back at The Players Championship, then winning for the second time in three years at The Masters and finishing off a remarkable winning streak the week after at The Heritage.
He eventually finished off the season with the Tour Championship by 4 strokes from Collin Morikawa.
He started 2025 somewhat slowly but entered the winners circle with a bang – with an 8 shot victory at the Byron Nelson. This was quickly followed with a 6 shot victory at The PGA Championship at Quail Hollow – and so claiming his third Major.
He followed this up with an immaculate 4 shot victory at The Open at Royal Portrush and so is now three quarters on the way to the career grand slam.
It doesn’t look like he is taking his foot off the gas in 2026 either – claiming his first victory at the The American Express by 4 shots.
So, what is in the bag of the world number 1? Let’s take a peak with the Scottie Scheffler WITB 2026..
A look inside Scottie Scheffler’s bag
The world number one made a switch to his current driver early in 2024, as he replaced his TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus with the standard TaylorMade Qi10 driver – a driver he is still using even with the release of the TaylorMade 2026 Qi4D range. He even opted to keep the Qi10 over the Qi35’s which were released in 2025.
What this means for the rest of us is that the 2024 Qi10 and 2025 Qi35 have dropped in price – so it could be a good time to purchase if you are in need of a new driver!

It will be interesting to see if at some point the Qi4D driver is put in his bag – especially as he has been seen using the Qi4D 7 wood when the course conditions require – one of many tour pros opting for a 7 wood to advance the ball out of the rough and use on long par 3’s.
He still uses the TaylorMade Qi10 model for his fairway wood – with deals available on these as well.
Scheffler moves away from TaylorMade for his driving iron, opting for Srixon’s ZU85 3 and 4-iron. The rest of his irons are made up of TaylorMade P7TWs, from a 5-iron to a pitching wedge.
Again his bag deviates from TaylorMade for his wedges, choosing to carry a 50°, 56° and a 60°wedge from Titleist’s Vokey SM8 range. Again, having not put in his bag the SM9s or 10s, it will be interesting to see if he eventually opts to put the 2026 SM11s in.
He also carries a TaylorMade Spider Tour X putter and a Titleist Pro V1 ball – not yet switching to the 2025 Pro V1.
