Bryson DeChambeau is a unique golfer for many reasons. He may be a divisive figure amongst golf fans, but very few can deny he is an entertaining figure with the game, helped by the fact he can hit the ball further than most in professional golf.
Already a two-time major champion, the American has become just as know for his YouTube content as his presence within the men’s pro game.
He has won his national open twice – in 2020 and 2024 – as well as picking up nine wins on the PGA Tour before making a switch to LIV Golf, where he has been the victor on five occasions.
Increasingly though, DeChambeau has grown a big audience on YouTube, where he attempts challenges like ‘Break 50’ with various celebrities. His videos rack up millions of views and quite the following in the process.
He does all this with equipment that not many other stars would even consider putting in their golf bags. Sp, here’s a closer look at the ever changing and increasingly strange golf bag of Bryson DeChambeau…
What’s in Bryson’s bag?
He ended his deal with Cobra at the end of 2022 and this was made most obvious when he put a TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus driver into play at the 2023 Saudi International.
But the tinkerer himself, the 2020 US Open champion, used a Krank Formula Fire driver when he shot his famous 58 in the final round of the LIV Golf Greenbrier event later that year.
“It’s a great driver,” he said. “It’s probably performed the best I’ve ever had in the past five years in professional golf for me.”
DeChambeau went into that event with not only a new Krank Formula Fire driver at 6˚, but he also put the Krank Fire fairway woods in his bag.
