The Adidas S2G Spikeless golf shoes are designed to provide a lightweight response feel. So how do they perform? Find out in our Adidas S2G Spikeless Leather 24 Golf Shoe review…

This golf shoe from Adidas suits a wide range of golfers who are looking for both style and comfort. They are on the edge of suiting any off-course setting too. You wouldn’t look out of place wearing these shoes in a social setting.
The spikeless design adds to the comfort and style of these shoes. I found them to be sturdy, durable and a great fit for my feet when I was out on the golf course. As well as the feeling, the design predictably got me in the mood for the Masters and the rest of the golf season with its split of white and green.
PROS
CONS
From the moment I opened the big green Adidas box, I was immediately taken by the colourway of these golf shoes. The iconic Adidas stripes looked great in green and perfectly contrasted with the predominant Cloud White colour of the shoe.
The beige underside of the shoe almost creates an athletic look, the look of a trainer that could make this shoe suitable for more than just the golf course. These were my immediate thoughts as I was taking them out of the box, and I wasn’t disappointed when I put them on my feet and headed out to the golf course.

In terms of the colourway, Adidas has nailed that part of the shoe. We’ve established that, but the item needs to perform well to complete the circle. It is a tough task combining style and substance with a golf shoe. This is especially the case with a white golf shoe which I have always been sceptical about wearing. They get muddy easily, even if they are being used in the Spring and the Summer. The hope is that they remain as clean as possible, but even the least disciplined golfers like me would be prepared to ignore this worry and persevere with these golf shoes.
I must say the heel is very sturdy. The bottom of the heel is very built up on the outside, and this part almost acts as a bolster and another layer of protection from the elements. I found this bulky heel section particularly useful when swinging. It didn’t add any weight to the product, and I felt stable as I walked the course and played golf.

The strength of the heel epitomised the steely nature of the shoe. The material of this Adidas item is very durable, and I felt secure and comfortable while wearing it for this reason. The longer I kept them on, the more the colourway grew on me. The green ring around the back and the green strips on the side look great. With the beige underside, it almost looks like you are wearing a pair of tennis shoes on the golf course.
In addition to the strong heel, the front of the shoe is very strong, almost like the steel toe-capped school shoes you used to buy each summer before you head back to class and start booting your mates in the shins.
The laces at the top of the shoe are not too suffocating. You have the option of not using the holes at the very end of the laces, allowing your feet to breathe and feel comfortable when you’re playing 18 holes. The design of the laces and the freedom of the laced design add to the overall comfort factor of the shoe, and they also add to the athletic aesthetic.
Although they don’t have spikes, I felt plenty of grip underfoot when I was walking and when I was swinging my clubs. Balance is a crucial part of any person’s golf swing, so for a pair of shoes to enhance this feature of your swing is brilliant. With the overall sturdiness and look of the shoe, you can have confidence they will perform for you, help you to maintain your balance and make you look sharp on the golf course.
It is no exaggeration to say that the Adidas S2G Spikeless Leather 24 golf shoes became one of my favourites from the moment I took them out of the box. The design is very much in season. When you put these on your feet, spring will have sprung, and they immediately add vibrance and style to your golf wardrobe.
Adidas has excelled with this product. As we enter the major season, this shoe suits the season and will make you eager to get back out on the golf course and leave the rain behind.
