The best of the best! We roundup the Best TaylorMade Winter Accessories for 2025
Winter golf can be a formidable test, with the elements becoming as much a part of the challenge as the course itself.
TaylorMade is a brand synonymous with innovation and quality in a range golf equipment, gear that goes beyond just golf clubs and into their winter accessories collection.
It is built with advanced technologies and materials that promise to keep you warm, dry, and at the top of your game even when temperatures plummet.
From insulated beanies to double canopy umbrellas, TaylorMade’s offerings are designed to meet the demands of golfers who refuse to be put off by winter.
If that sounds like a you, then check out our guide which showcases some of the best winter accessories from TaylorMade, aimed to help you conquer the course regardless of the weather.
The first thing I noticed about the TaylorMade Double Canopy golf umbrella was that it felt substantial.
Compared to one of my single canopy umbrellas that I use when carrying it was about 200g heavier at around 945g. It does mean that this feels very robust and, with its WindPro® technology should withstand significant winds.
It has an auto-open feature and it really does feel extremely stable and high quality when open.
The handle is described as ergonomic, sport-grip. It is comfortable enough in the hand but it does look to be designed to fit into an umbrella holder with ease, which it did.
I reviewed the 64” canopy and it is large enough to provide good protection whilst being carried.
Having had flimsy umbrellas get mangled by the wind on several occasions a quality umbrella is required equipment and this TaylorMade double canopy umbrella certainly ticks the quality box.
This is very much a golfer’s hat. However, it really is very good-looking, with the main part contrasting with the cuff. The stitched logo has a feel of quality about it, and while prominent, isn’t too overbearing.
It has a lovely soft lining and is, unsurprisingly, extremely comfortable. The internal lining has a thermal fleece-lined construction. This thick lining is perfect for the colder weather due to the amount of warmth it adds.
This is a perfect addition to your bag for winter golf.
As a fan of the bobble hat I have never really considered the beanie – my head size, well, is big – so was not expecting much from the TaylorMade Ribbed Knit Beanie.
From the moment I put it on, I was impressed by how soft and comfortable the fabric felt. The ribbed design adds a stylish edge while providing just the right amount of stretch for a perfect fit.
Playing golf while wearing this beanie was no problem at all during chilly rounds. I felt wonderfully warm, yet it remained breathable enough that I didn’t overheat. The beanie stayed securely in place, even during windy conditions.
Its sleek design and subtle branding easily complements casual outfits when off the golf course.
Overall, the TaylorMade Ribbed Knit Beanie combines warmth, comfort, and style, making it something to consider for any golfer looking to enjoy the winter season on and off the golf course.
I have never owned this style of hat, to my cost. Rain running down one’s face is bad enough but when combined with wearing glasses it does make golf even more challenging.

The Storm Bucket Hat from TaylorMade is the answer. It’s 2.5-inch brim is just the right compromise between protection and remaining unobtrusive during the swing.
I tested the black version, which had a pleasing, almost velvety look and texture to it. The website states it is water-resistant, but the label on the hat says waterproof.
In testing, there was no evidence of any water absorption. It has a relaxed stretch fit construction, which keeps it in place comfortably. The printed TaylorMade logo is tasteful. This is something I will keep in my golf bag from now on.
Warm mittens really are vital when playing on a cold day.
The TaylorMade Cart Mittens are thoughtfully designed. They have a nylon outer shell and a thumb and palm insert for extra grip.
They have a thinsulate lining, which makes them warm and comfortable. The elastic cuff closure looks quite tight but allows your hand in and out very easily.
From what I can see, they come in one size, but they are extremely roomy and would fit all but the most enormous hands.
Rain doesn’t really enhance the golfing experience and one of the biggest issues is the loss of grip. I have tried a few brands of rain glove with varying success. The TaylorMade Rain Control Glove is near the top of the tree for these gloves.
They are made from element tech microfibre material, according to the website. Additionally, the nylon is described as exceptionally strong. This certainly translates into my real-world testing of them. They felt very comfortable, yet durable.
They really performed when playing shots when wet. The grip was excellent with both gloves on. I don’t imagine many golfers like wearing two gloves but they were as tolerable in this regard as any others I have tried. The grip was good enough that if not too wet, I could wear one glove.
Upon reviewing TaylorMade’s winter apparel selection, it’s clear that the brand leaves no room for compromise when it comes to performance and comfort. Utilizing state-of-the-art materials and technologies like thermal insulation and water-resistant fabrics, TaylorMade ensures that you stay protected against the unforgiving elements of winter.
TaylorMade’s winter accessories aren’t just about surviving the cold; it’s about thriving in it. With such meticulously crafted options in your winter golf wardrobe, you can focus solely on your game, leaving concerns about weather-induced discomfort in the past.
So, when winter arrives, don’t let it deter you from hitting the greens; with TaylorMade’s winter accessories, you’re not only ready to face the season—you might actually begin to enjoy it more.
