Introduction
FitVille’s Primix V1 is a premium golf shoe, built on its reputation for ergonomic footwear designed for a range of foot conditions, from plantar fasciitis to arthritis.
It pairs a water-resistant leather upper with a supportive arch insole and a nylon stability plate, while the FitVille Lab™ ComfortGrip 360 outsole delivers spikeless traction and torsion resistance for confident footing both on and off the course.
The dual-density midsole adds a responsive, cushioned feel underfoot without sacrificing stability. It’s a shoe that puts genuine biomechanical support front and centre, rather than just style. All at a great price!

First Impressions
I had not previously heard of the FitVille brand and was excited to review something new. I chose the white version of this shoe, and I extremely pleased with the choice. It is simple, sleek and elegant, with not too much fuss, in a very traditional golf shoe design. The white version looks more premium than you would expect in this price category. The branding is minimal (only four logos per shoe) and discreet.
How I undertook the review
I took these shoes on an enviable selection of courses – Carnoustie’s Championship course followed by a few days at Loch Lomond Golf Club and then to Holland culminating on the ultra-exclusive Royal Hague.
Interestingly my host at Carnoustie had a pair of FitVille golf shoes and raved about the comfort and support as he suffers with bunions.
What I found
I wore these shoes straight of the box and played four consecutive rounds of golf, followed a few days later by another four consecutive rounds of golf. The Primix V1’s got a thorough workout. The only aspect that I could not evaluate was the water resistance as it was dry and very hot for all the golf played.

The comfort out of the box is exceptional. There was no breaking in period, with walking and pushing a trolley for all rounds. My feet were comfortable, and there was no discomfort in my heels or toes. This was a hugely pleasant surprise and the brand’s assertions regarding its comfort and support and were truly to be believed.

The torsional stability during golf swings is very good. I would be happy to guess there are not many golf shoes in this price range that perform as well.
Traction is very good in dry and flat conditions. It would probably be less ideal in steep, soft or wet courses.

These shoes are promoted for golfers needing a wider forefoot. If you are not one of those people, this section can seem too loose and therefore affect the stability, but not the comfort, of the shoe.
The Primix V1 performed very well in the dry conditions I encountered during testing. They are water resistant, but not waterproof, and maybe less than ideal for wetter and softer conditions underfoot.
I would regard this as a good dry weather or early morning shoe, rather than my first choice for the persistent British Isles rainy weather.
NCG Final Say
The is a great shoe with exceptional value from a brand that is focussed on therapeutics, comfort and stability. The FitVille Primix V1 is attractive and very comfortable, particularly for amateur golfers with foot conditions and with requirements for a wider shoe.
All in all, there is great performance in this price range.
