The Callaway Quantum Ti is a fully titanium construction designed to have a lower COG than before combining the forgiveness of Max with the performance DNA of Triple Diamond. It has a slightly larger head than the Quantum with a deep face that offers confidence at address.
In terms of use it’s easy to hit and works well off the tee on ground. I found that all categories of data were incredible consistent and even the off centre hits didn’t suffer too much.

First Impressions
Out of the head cover, the design of the Callaway Quantum Ti fairway wood is slightly more sleek than the Quantum. The alignment arrow on top has been removed so crown of the club and top-line is plain and simple. The face design has also been striped back only offering the grooves with no additional lines. The sole has been revamped, whilst keeping the same grey colourway.
How I undertook the review
I tested the Callaway Mini driver at an indoor studio using a GC Quad to gather data as well as during a round at The West Lancashire golf club during a practice round for the Rose Ladies Series.
What I found
Callaway offers the Quantum Ti Fairway in a 3w (15°) that I tested and a 5w (18°). This is a deeper face wood option that Callaway has stated to be more of an off the tee club than off the ground. It is also slightly larger than the Callaway Quantum Max Golf Fairway Wood.
I didn’t find the head shape to be too large and found that it was easy to launch off the tee as well as off the ground. It was a good test off the tighter lying links fairways at The West Lancs golf club but the Callaway Quantum Ti did a great job.

Construction
The Quantum Ti as per the name is a full titanium construction. This allows for weight to be saved and to be redistributed in the head to help optimise the centre of gravity. It also helps with promoting ball speed with more consistent spin rates. Callaway has tried to combine the forgiveness of Max with the performance DNA of Triple Diamond.
Callaway has also used a Next Generation Ai-Optimized Face Design. From this they aim to offer a consistent performance across the entire face.
Data
As mentioned I took the Quantum Ti 3 wood to an indoor studio to gather data using a GC Quad and my standard Titleist ProV1x golf ball.
My current fairway in the bag is 16° compared to the Ti which is 15°. In terms of carry distance the Callaway offered me a few more yards on average than I see currently but there is a different in loft so this is expected. Spin rates may appear high for some but I do tend to average around 3800 RPM so this was very respectable for me. My grouping of shots was incredibly consistent with very minimal curve on the ball which is usual for me as I tend to have a draw. Ball speed continued the consistent theme with only a 0.4 deviation as did launch angle and peak.
Adjustability
Golfer’s change their swings and so if you’re fit for a draw bias club, for example, that you no longer need it can be a financial burden. Callaway has used an OptiFit4 Hosel on their fairway woods. This gives you independent loft and lie adjustability, offering eight total configurations. You can fine-tune launch angle and shot shape – whether you’re looking for a higher trajectory, straighter ball flight, or a draw-biased setup. This really does make the club more versatile for golfers.
NCG Final Say
Overall, if you’re looking for a 3 wood that you’d primarily hit off the tee this is a great option. Hit has a slightly larger head shape with a deeper face thats easy to launch and control. I like that you can make lots of adjustments to it so whether you need help taming a draw or fade, or need more or less loft it can help with all.
How it compares to other fairway woods
The Callaway Quantum Ti is a full titanium construction compared to the Callaway Quantum fairway which is Forged Carbon. You now see a deeper face with a slightly larger head.
