When Rory McIlroy completed the career Grand Slam earlier this year, plenty of attention was placed on what was in his bag. Among them was his distinctive Spider Tour X putter, featuring a torched finish that stood out almost as much as his putting performance. Now, that putter has inspired an entire new family.

TaylorMade’s 2026 Spider Tour lineup introduces a new torched PVD finish across four models, including the established Spider Tour and Spider Tour X alongside two new additions, the Spider Tour F and Spider Tour V. As well as, three new zero torque models. But while the finish will grab the headlines, the bigger story is how TaylorMade has created clearer separation between each model, giving golfers more choice than ever when it comes to head shape, toe hang, alignment and stroke fit.
Here’s everything you need to know about the new Spider Tour family and how the latest additions fit into one of golf’s most successful putter franchises.
The Technology
Every 2026 Spider mallet is equipped with a White TPU Pure Roll™ insert. This is a mixture of Surlyn and aluminium used to create grooves that sit at a 45° angle. These grooves aim to grab that ball on impact to help it roll end over end. The roll is a key feature of a Spider as it aims to improve straight line performance and distance.
Behind the face, is a HYBRAR ECHO® Damper works to remove unwanted vibrations which helps to deliver a premium sound and feel at impact.
The body itself is hollow, allowing weights to be pushed to the perimeters. This shift in centre of gravity (CG) helps to increase the stability of the putter and MOI.
A new textured aluminium sole plate that not only adds a new look but improve the sit points. This means more sole stability so less chance the ball has of slipping on the grass.
