Wilson drivers have evolved after impressing us with their quality and value for money over recent years. The Dynapwr series, has once again been updated with the introduction of three new models which make up the new Wilson Dynapwr Drivers 2025.

They may have kept the same name but there is a lot of new additions that are to be admired about within these clubs. Wilson believe this is a new era with each engineering advancement igniting the next catalyst for change.

An era which sees drivers of power and distance enter their most formidable form yet. But how have Wilson achieved this? Let’s take a look at the tech…

Wilson Dynapwr Drivers 2025: The Technology

All three drivers have been constructed with Wilson’s own AI driven PKR-360. This club head and face technology has increased the number of optimisable face and body locations which are unique to each model of driver.

As a result of the inclusion of this technology all three driver designs have a larger sweet spot for more forgiveness across the face. It also enables the ball speeds to be driven up higher from strikes for both centred and off-centred hits.

The sweet spot on the drivers has also been increased by the addition of the open hosel construction. This new hosel system infrastructure removes all unnecessary and insufficient weight allowing the face of the drivers to flex more resulting in higher ball speeds and more forgiveness.

Elsewhere, Wilson believe they have improved the sound of the Dynapwr drivers through the inclusion of a precision rib placement throughout the body of the club head. They say this guarantees a powerful and appealing sound, so there is no risk of the dreaded ‘tin’ noise that plagues some titanium drivers.

Here is a closer look at the Wilson Dynapwr line-up and how each model differs from each other…

The Line-up

The Wilson Dynapwr driver range features three models: Wilson Dynapwr LS, Wilson Dynapwr Carbon and the Wilson Dynapwr MAX drivers.

Wilson Dynapwr LS Driver

wilson dynapwr drivers 2025

Looks: A compact profile that is tour design inspired. Has a deeper and more compact 445cc head to promote more control. Wilson have also included an optimised aerodynamic shaping in the design of the LS head which is a faster, more streamlined raised skirt and curved crown designed to reduce drag.

Main attributes: Designed to eliminated pull shots from your game. The left side of the golf course is rendered meaningless off the tee with this driver delivering maximum club head speed, control and adjustability without sacrificing ball speed.

Who is it for?: For those golfers who struggle to find the fairway by dragging or pulling the ball left off the tee.

Wilson Dynapwr Carbon Driver

Looks: Constructed from carbon material in a fairly small and compact profile, a 460cc head.

Main attributes: Designed to deliver the ideal combination of workability and forgiveness. Players are able to adjust the launch and spin of every shot due to the swappable front (3g) and back (9g) weights.

Who is it for?: Suitable for a variety of golfers who are comfortable with a smaller driver head than some forgiving drivers.

Wilson Dynapwr MAX Driver

Main attributes: Designed to increase shot stability. This driver also has a higher than ever MOI for straighter tee shots. The flippable (19g) rear weight allows golfers the ability to fine-tune their left to right shot.

Who is it for?: For those golfers looking to be more accurate off the tee with added forgiveness and more stability.

About the author

Max Mcvittie

A bit of a late bloomer to the game of golf, Max fell in love with the sport when he attended Saturday coaching sessions down at his local golf club after being inspired by friends and family members.

Max has remained a member of Eden Golf Club in Carlisle for a number of years now as he looks to get his handicap down into single figures. Most of his golfing career has been spent battling a permanent slice off the tee, which has led to some ugly rounds.

Having studied at the University of Sunderland, Max is starting out his dream career in sports journalism. During his time at university, he picked up valuable work experience at Reach PLC, BBC Radio Cumbria and GiveMeSport, whilst also getting work published in the Teesside Live. He also spent time working at a local weekly newspaper, Eskdale and Liddesdale Advertiser, as a general news reporter partially covering some local sport just north of the border in Langholm.

Max has just started his journey with the NCG working as the assistant equipment editor. He looks forwarded to reviewing the latest golf equipment, taking up an interest in reviews when buying his first golf club, a Cleveland RTX wedge.

With his bag not going under too many changes throughout the last few years, Max carries an M3 driver, Titleist GT3 Fairway Wood, M2 hybrid, a set of M2 irons, Callaway Jaws wedges and a TaylorMade Spider putter. And yes, Max is a bit of a self-proclaimed TaylorMade fan boy.
