Takomo Ignis D1 Driver
The Takomo Ignis D1 driver is a brilliant first driver effort from the Finnish company. It delivers forgiveness, consistent performance, and excellent value. It is also significantly cheaper than offerings from Callaway, TaylorMade, or Titleist, yet it comes with premium stock components.
Equally, it looks excellent behind the ball, with its matte black finish and carbon weave details providing a modern, confidence-inspiring appearance.
The only real drawback is that it does not quite match the very top-performing drivers for distance. But for the price, it isn’t designed to.

Fairway Wood
Takomo Ignis Fairway Wood
This is a really easy to hit and forgiving fairway wood. Typically fairways are one of the hardest golf clubs in the bag to hit but there is no such issue with the Takomo Ignis. Plenty of club golfers who are less bothered about gaining maximum distance and are more focused on striking the ball cleaner can put this into play.
For a really reasonable price golfers can utilise a club that feels great and is nice to use. It’s not often I can say that about fairway woods in one of these articles.

Takomo Skyforger SF002 Wedge
The Takomo Skyforger SF002 wedge is an impressive addition to the growing direct-to-consumer market. It offers clean looks, premium components, and excellent performance at a price point that undercuts the biggest names in the game.

At £99, this is nearly half the cost of a leading tour wedge, yet it still delivers plenty of spin, strong performance from bunkers and rough, and a satisfying feel. The only drawback is that grind and bounce options are limited, which may put off better players seeking precise customisation.
A commendable option for those looking to spruce up their short game set-up without having to spend a small fortune.

Takomo 101 MKII Iron
The Takomo 101 MKII are a great looking set of irons. Designed for mid to high handicap golfers, the 101 Mk11 irons are the game improvement irons out of the trio released for 2026.
It’s really nice to see that Takomo really listened to their consumers with these irons. Not only in terms of technology but in what they want from a set of irons. The previous model set came as 4i to PW but as a game improvement set a 4iron wasn’t really needed.
For just over £500, these are a great set of irons!

Players’ distance iron
Takomo 201 MKII Iron
Designed as being the players distance iron, in the trio of Takomo’s latest release for 2026, the 201 MKII’s are aimed at golfers who have outgrown game-improvement irons.
The 201 MKII also features a shorter blade length and thinner sole. To look down at the topline it has been trimmed-down compared to the game improvement 101 MKII model.
Overall, a great set of irons for any golfer, mid or low handicap who wants a little extra forgiveness in their game. Coming in at just less than £600, they’re a real bargain!

Player’s precision iron
Takomo 201T MKII Iron
The Takomo 201T MKII Irons are a cross between a traditional players’ cavity-back and a players’ distance iron. Aimed at low to mid handicap golfers, who need a bit of forgiveness in a compact package.
Whilst visually over the ball I loved the profile of these irons, they weren’t the longest out of the 2026 trio. However, they were easy to use and whilst i’m not a master at shot shaping they did deliver on being easily workable.
Overall, a great set of irons for any player looking to bridge the gap between a blade and a distance iron.

Blade iron
Takomo 301MB Iron
These irons are a proper set of blades. They have a small enough profile to strike fear into your playing partners but offer enough forgiveness on slight miss hits not to be impossible to use. These irons come with serious bag appeal, and club golfers will not be able to walk past without having a look.
These irons are perfect for good ball strikers looking to upgrade their irons without breaking the bank. These irons feel and look fantastic, so iron purists will not be disappointed.
