Hot new golf shoes to look out for in 2019

Does everyone get excited about new golf shoes or is it just me?
We’ve been testing some new drivers ahead of some big launches in January which is great but there’s so much more pressure when it comes to hardware.
If you invest £400 in a brand new driver how devastating must it be if you don’t get along with it?
But with shoes your needs are much simpler. Do they look smart? Are they comfortable? Can I swing a golf club without falling over?
They don’t have to transform your game and add 1.5mph of ball speed with less spin and higher launch.
We can enjoy our golf shoes even if our golf itself it rubbish.
Puma Ignite NXT range
Puma have intoduced some cracking shoes over the past couple of years under the Ignite franchise.
And now they have three new spikeless models which they say take things to the NXT level.
We’ve basically got three different lacing options but each shoe is promising superb traction thanks to 100 strategically placed directional hexagon lugs for maximum stability.
The NXT Solelace (£110) has a unique fastening system where the laces actually run through the midsole and outsole to help keep your foot locked in.
There’s also an Ignite NXT Disc (£110) model which adds convenience and added performance by locking the foot in more securely.
And if you’re more of a traditionalist you can go for the regular Ignite NXT (£110) which just has normal laces.
Each model will be available in a range of different colour options from February 2019.

New Adidas Adicross golf shoes
The Adicross range – as showcased by Dustin Johnson and Sergio Garcia – is urban-inspired, non-traditional and designed to be worn anywhere.

On the course, at the driving range, in the office, at the supermarket etc…
The Crossknit 3.0 (£129.95) takes inspiration from Adidas running shoes and is incredibly lightweight with Boost cushioning foam for added comfort.
Another non-traditional, spikeless offering is the Adicross PPF (£75).
The trainer-like upper features leather, microfiber and textile materials to provide a breathable feel that’s also water-repellant.
Flexible Bounce midsole cushioning giving a springy feel.
Both models will be available at adidas.co.uk from February 2019.
Fresh Italian styles from Duca del Cosma
Duca del Cosma are best know for thier lightweight and stylish spikeless shoes.
But for 2019 they are introducing their first-ever soft spiked shoes.
The Heritage (£209.95) is the star model from the new line.
Made from full-grain leather, the shoe is extremely comfortable and features the brand’s exclusive waterproof microfibre system.
