English course designer Jonathan Gaunt created two contrasting courses in the estate grounds and on former arable land overlooking Durham City. The tree-lined Prince Bishops’ features 16 man-made lakes and large undulating greens.
The Cathedral Course plays like a fast running links, across a high hilltop and down into a stunning wooded valley. Water comes into play on 10 holes.
When you’re finished on the links, relax with full access to the award winning spa – known for its 25m pool, hydrotherapy, Himalayan salt steam room and herbal infusion saunas.
