Don’t let the glimpses of sun fool you, it’s still very much wrap up warm weather out there. We have the perfect chance to win some winter clothing you keep you out on the golf course until the summer and spring months arrive.

The Prize

We are giving away a Mizuno golf beanie and a pair of thermal golf gloves.

One winner will be chosen, who will receive a Mizuno Melange Beanie and a set of Mizuno Thermagrip golf gloves.

This beanie will help you to stay warm as you battle the end of what has been a brutal winter period for us golfers. Equipped with a stylish melange effect and finished with a 3D embroidered Mizuno logo this will have you strutting the course in style.

Your winter outfit won’t be complete without some thermal golf gloves. Perfect for those freezing cold Saturday morning tee times, these Mizuno gloves use the brand’s Breath Thermo Technology to generate heat and keep your hands warm even in the most extreme conditions.

Extra layers can often hinder a golfer’s swing. But, these gloves are all about performance. They have a synthetic palm which features a 3D print for enhanced grip so your swing will be as secure as with an ordinary golf glove.

The details on how to enter are below…

Mizuno

The brand’s credibility when it comes to winter apparel doesn’t stop at gloves and hats. Mizuno has been producing premium apparel and accessories since 1906. All that research and development seems to have paid off with some of their latest releases.

We put together a best of guide of a selection of Mizuno winter apparel and it didn’t disappoint. From umbrellas to trendy pullovers, Mizuno offer the complete set and will have you adequately equipped to battle the winter weather conditions.

Mizuno are a brand that are also widely recognised for their golf gear as well as the apparel. A lot of you will have tried Mizuno irons in the past, after all nothing feels like a Mizuno.

They have recently released the Mizuno Pro S-3 irons, which our NCG equipment team had the pleasure of reviewing. The team were impressed with their looks as much as their performance, being some of the best looking clubs behind the ball they have seen this year.

Everything you would expect from a set of Mizuno irons was present in this set. They have that special feel, that only a Mizuno iron could have.

Here is a selection of some of the brands items below, that are amongst some of our personal favourites…

About the author

Max Mcvittie

A bit of a late bloomer to the game of golf, Max fell in love with the sport when he attended Saturday coaching sessions down at his local golf club after being inspired by friends and family members.

Max has remained a member of Eden Golf Club in Carlisle for a number of years now as he looks to get his handicap down into single figures. Most of his golfing career has been spent battling a permanent slice off the tee, which has led to some ugly rounds.

Having studied at the University of Sunderland, Max is starting out his dream career in sports journalism. During his time at university, he picked up valuable work experience at Reach PLC, BBC Radio Cumbria and GiveMeSport, whilst also getting work published in the Teesside Live. He also spent time working at a local weekly newspaper, Eskdale and Liddesdale Advertiser, as a general news reporter partially covering some local sport just north of the border in Langholm.

Max has just started his journey with the NCG working as the assistant equipment editor. He looks forwarded to reviewing the latest golf equipment, taking up an interest in reviews when buying his first golf club, a Cleveland RTX wedge.

With his bag not going under too many changes throughout the last few years, Max carries an M3 driver, Titleist GT3 Fairway Wood, M2 hybrid, a set of M2 irons, Callaway Jaws wedges and a TaylorMade Spider putter. And yes, Max is a bit of a self-proclaimed TaylorMade fan boy.
