Tom Irwin and Tom Bullough are playing a grand total of 108 holes across six of the best golf courses in Leeds to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
On July 2, Tom and Tom will be completing the challenge at Headingley, Sandmoor, Moortown, Alwoodley, Moorallerton and Scarcroft, starting at 4.30 am and crossing the finish line when the final putt is holed.
Each pound that is raised will help to form a pathway to which every man is invited to receive regular, accurate tests to catch prostate cancer early enough for a cure. Prostate cancer affects one in eight men every year in the UK.
It is vitally important to raise awareness of the most common cancer in men, and Prostate Cancer UK’s Big Golf Race invites you to raise money by playing 36 holes, 72 holes or 100 holes in one day.

“I was shocked when I found out one man dies every 45 minutes from the disease – the same time it takes to play three holes of golf,” Prostate Cancer UK golf ambassador Danny Willett said.
“Whether you’re playing two, four or even more rounds in a day, the money you raise will help to drive research towards earlier diagnosis and better treatment for men at risk.”
