LIV Golf is in Jeddah, the LPGA Tour is in Singapore, the PGA Tour is back in the Palm Beaches, and there’s also the DP World Tour and Asian Tour as well! Who is worth your money though?

There is plenty of action this week in the world of golf, but who are our betting tips for the five tournaments on the major tours?

Once again, we have both the PGA Tour and LIV Golf in action this week, but fortunately for the viewers, the two events are on very different time zones.

Brooks Koepka returns to Saudi Arabia as the two-time reigning champion of LIV Golf Jeddah, and aiming for a first win of 2024.

Meanwhile, the PGA Tour returns to Florida for the Classic in the Palm Beaches (formerly known as the Cognizant Classic), where Chris Kirk will be aiming to defend his title, and win for a second time in 2024.

Who will win? Matt Coles takes a look at this week’s action and gives you his betting tips for the week’s golf…

Don’t forget to scroll all the way to the bottom of this piece for a great sign-up offer from bet365!

Classic in the Palm Beaches golf betting tips and preview

Venue: Champion Course, PGA National Resort, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States
Date: February 29-March 3, 2024
Course stats: Par 72, 7,045 yards
Defending champion: Chris Kirk (-14)

Min Woo Lee @ 30/1 with bet365

Min Woo Lee

This will happen at some point! I have every faith that Min Woo Lee will soon break his PGA Tour duck. He has two wins in his last eight events, including one on home soil at the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship.

Lee’s form has, admittedly, been going the wrong way in recent weeks, but he has not missed a cut in the last nine months. The Australian is 30/1 and could be worth your money in the Palm Beaches!

Camilo Villegas @ 300/1 with bet365

This week’s outside bet does not deserve to be at 300/1, that’s for sure! Colombia’s Camilo Villegas is a former winner of the this tournament, taking the title back in 2010 on the same course.

He also won on the PGA Tour just four months ago, securing the Butterfield Bermuda Championship crown by two shots. Could the Colombian spring another surprise this week?

This week’s favourite – Rory McIlroy – is 15/2 to take the title.

LIV Golf Jeddah golf betting tips and preview

Venue: Royal Greens Golf & Country Club, King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia
Date: March 1-3, 2024
Course stats: Par 70, 7,010 yards
Defending champion: Brooks Koepka (-14)

Brooks Koepka or Dustin Johnson @ 10/1 with bet365

Both Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson have been victorious on two occasions at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club. And both are currently priced at 10/1.

Koepka is the two-time defending LIV Golf Jeddah champion, while DJ won the Saudi International on the DP World Tour in both 2019 and 2021. He also won last time out in Las Vegas, so it would not be a surprise to see either of these two take the victory!

  • NOW READ: What’s in Brooks Koepka’s bag?

Harold Varner III @ 45/1 with bet365

Another man to have tasted victory at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club is Harold Varner III. The American sunk an incredible eagle putt to secure the win at the Saudi International in 2022.

harold varner iii golf betting tips

Could he add a second LIV title to his cabinet following a victory in D.C. last year? Varner III is currently 45/1 to do so this week in Jeddah.

4Aces GC @ 11/2 to win the LIV Golf Jeddah Team Event with bet365

If DJ and Varner find their Saudi form, then the 4Aces will be hard to beat this week. They are the third favourites behind Legion XIII and Torque GC to take the Teams title in Jeddah.

What else is going on in the world of golf this week?

There is plenty more action taking place this week, with the DP World Tour, LPGA Tour and Asian Tour all in action.

There is a world class field in action at the HSBC Women’s World Championship, as the LPGA Tour continues its Asian run of tournaments. Jin-young Ko will be looking to defend her crown, with the majority of the top ten all in action.

Meanwhile, the DP World Tour returns to South Africa for the fourth time in the 2023-2024 season. The SDC Championship takes place at St Francis Links once again.

Finally, the New Zealand Open is the Asian Tour’s offering this week. The 103rd edition of the competition will be held at Millbrook.

Who will take victory at these tournaments? Check out our picks for success below…

Hyo-joo Kim @ 14/1 to win the HSBC Women’s World Championship with bet365

Hyo-Joo Kim golf betting tips

Only once in the last decade has a non-South Korean won this title. I think that record continues this week, but it won’t be Jin-young Ko defending her crown. Instead, Hyo-joo Kim wins at Sentosa for a second time following her 2021 triumph.

After winning twice in the last two weeks – once on the Ladies European Tour and once on the LPGA Tour – Patty Tavatanakit is 20/1 to win a third successive title.

Ewen Ferguson @ 18/1 to win the SDC Championship with bet365

Ferguson finished in a tie for 3rd in last year’s edition of this tournament, and has top tens in his last two events. He came home T7 in Nairobi on Sunday. Could we see the Scot take his first win in 18 months?

Kazuma Kobori to win the New Zealand Open with bet365

Incredibly, young New Zealander Kazuma Kobori has three wins already in 2024, with those wins coming on the Webex Players Series. He also finished in the top ten in last year’s New Zealand Open. Could he break out on the Asian Tour this week?

As of now, there are no odds for the New Zealand Open, but we will update this page with Kobori’s odds of victory when they go live.

Mention a European country, and Matt will tell you which resorts make the National Club Golfer Top 100s: European Resorts list. He might even throw in who designed the golf course and how many rooms the hotel has got at each one…

Matt got into the game of golf from a young age, following his old man to the local golf club. He fell for the sport, and now can’t seem to go a day without thinking about how to improve his game (Thanks Dad!). Matt has been a member of Howley Hall GC in Leeds since 2020, and is just about managing to maintain a single-figure handicap. He likes to remind people that he once broke 75, but won’t tell people that it was on a shortened course during the winter.

He moved to Leeds after graduating from the University of Central Lancashire with a First Class Honours degree in Sports Journalism. Matt joined NCG after almost five years travelling the world with the Professional Squash Association, working on events in all four corners of the globe.

Matt currently plays a Cobra King LTDx driver and RadSpeed 3-wood. TaylorMade monopolise the rest of his bag, with a SIM UDI, M5 irons and both Milled Grind and HI-TOE wedges, along with a Monza Redline putter. He uses a Vice Pro Plus golf ball, because he’s a bit different…

Away from golf, Matt is a Manchester United fan, and a keen runner, having ran the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon (his first and possibly last), in May 2023.
