The staff bag’s colours of purple, gold and white symbolize the regal heritage of this year’s venue, which received Royal designation in 1978 on its centenary.
The gold ring around the top of the bag bears the inscription “152nd” to mark the 152nd playing of golf’s oldest championship.
Additionally, a gold ring at the bottom of the bag features two serpents, representing the host venue’s seal.
