Tiger Woods schedule
2025: Tiger Woods next tournament
After featuring at the PNC Championship with son Charlie in December 2024 – and narrowly missing out on the victory to Bernhard Langer and his son – Woods has not announced any events that he will be playing in during the 2025 season as yet.
He was down to play in the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines, but he withdrew to take more time to cope with the death of his mother Kultida.
The brand new TGL – the indoor golf league that he founded alongside four-time major winner Rory McIlroy – got underway in January. Tiger plays for Jupiter Links in this new start-up.
The league, which features six teams of four players (all of whom are PGA Tour stars), will see each team play five matches. All the details are here.
On Monday, March 3, Woods entered the Seminole Pro-Member, an event at an exclusive Florida golf club for tour players and millionaire/billionaire businessmen.
When it seemed Woods was gaining health and repetitions, he announced on March 11 that he ruptured his left Achilles and had a minimally-invasive Achilles tendon repair performed for a ruptured tendon. This will presumably rule him out of further action in 2025.
On October 11, Woods revealed that he had lumbar disc replacement surgery in his L4/5 lumbar spine for lower back symptoms. Dr Sheeraz Qureshi performed the procedure at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
