I don’t think it’s not too far of a stretch to say the Cobra Agera Counterbalance Putter looks like something beamed in from the future. From the moment I picked it up, it’s clear this wasn’t your average flatstick. The aggressive shaping, visible tech, and high-end finish immediately stand out. This is a putter that wants to be noticed.
It features a 38-inch shaft with a 17-inch SuperStroke counterbalance grip, designed to be gripped midway down for a pendulum-like stroke. It doesn’t quite venture into belly putter territory, nor does it function like an armlock, it merely exists in its own category. And, I think it works well.

Cobra has packed the Agera with a range of advanced technologies, each aimed at delivering better consistency and performance on the greens.
Firstly, the putter features a 3D printed internal structure. This lattice design significantly reduces the weight in the centre of the head. By using 3D printing, Cobra has been able to redistribute this saved weight to the perimeter, dramatically increasing the moment of inertia, MOI. This means that the putter is extremely stable through impact and highly resistant to twisting on off-centre strikes, which improves accuracy and forgiveness.
The Agera also includes Descending Loft Face Technology, developed in partnership with LA Golf. This feature ensures that putts maintain consistent launch and ball speed, regardless of where the ball contacts the face — high, low, or centre.
