We’ve reached that time of the year where new equipment releases are a bit thin on the ground.
Most companies have unleashed their gear for 2018 season and now it’s a case of letting everyone get out on the course to use it.
Testing will continue for me throughout the year as I work on various online and print projects.

And there will still be some new releases coming your way over the next few months.
In the meantime, let’s take a look at the big equipment stories from The Players Championship.
Adam Scott goes back to 2009 driver and broom-handle putter
Former world number one Adam Scott has gone back to the Titleist 910 D3 driver.

The model was released in 2009 and can be bought online for about £50.
It was the same one he used to win the 2011 WGC Bridgestone Invitational.
Scott averaged 297 yards off the tee during opening-round at TPC Sawgrass hitting 57.14 percent of fairways.
He could have gone for the Titleist 913 model which he won the Masters with but he donated that to Augusta National for a collection of clubs by former champions. So he couldn’t actually have gone for that one.
