We’ve had a few quieter weeks on the new gear front as brands prepare for big equipment launches in the new year. I’ll get to Phil Mickelson’s putter in a moment, but here are a few other bits that caught my eye this week…
Hybrid-irons? A new look from Cobra
Cobra have introduced the T-Rail an all hollow iron-hybrid set. They are super game improvement clubs offering the forgiveness of a hybrid but with the precision of an iron.
They have an iron face and topline with a hollow body for high launch and forgiveness. They also feature baffler rails which we have previously seen on their fairway woods to improve turf interaction.
The hybrid will be available from November 15, 2020 at £699 for steel shafts and £799 for graphite. There will be more from me on this later, or you can head over to the Cobra website.
