My word. Wearing the Puma POM Beanie is like welding a radiator to your head. It is so warm, that even the cold chills of an October morning didn’t stand a chance of freezing my skull. If I hadn’t made it clear already, this beanie will keep you well-insulate, which is the aim of the game when playing golf in the Autumn and Winter.
Puma makes great headwear and great beanies. I have long been a fan, and this POM Beanie is another quality addition to the portfolio. The material is thick, very thick and it is the most engrossing thing I’ve had on my head since sliced bread. If anything, it was slightly too big for me, which I suppose is better than having one that leans on the small side.
The pattern is cool. It is stylish and seems to fit the mood of the Autumn and Winter months.
The Puma Braided Weave Belt is a great belt. It isn’t one of those that makes you look like a cowboy, and as if you’re about to mount a horse and ride off into the sunset. This one embraces a little bit of that, a little bit of golf and a little bit of the office environment. Therefore, it is smart, outlandish and nicely designed. The brown leather of the loops and the dominant blue material of the belt itself look remarkable. It really does, and as far as belts go, it is probably the best I have seen in the game.
For such a specific market, I believe Puma stands up and takes notice of belts more than any other brand. They are smart, and the material allows you to adjust the tightness of the belt without having to fiddle with cut holes. You can just use the fabric of the built to embed the pin, and away you go. It is a belt perfect for golf, and I don’t think it would look out of place in any other setting.
The Puma Cloudspun Tech Hoodie is so stylish. The light blue colour is great to look at, and it is a really smart colour that will no doubt prove popular this Autumn and Winter. I usually like wearing dark colours on the golf course, and I don’t venture too far out of the ordinary. But sky blue is one colour I will go to, one colour I am prepared to meet you at. I can see myself wearing this hoodie both on the golf course and out in public too, and that is something I am often hesitant to do. I usually avoid wearing golf clothes in public.

The material is good and tight. I wouldn’t say it is a roomy piece of clothing, but you know where you stand with it. You still have a full range of movement, and the fabric is stretchy which I like. Puma meets you halfway with this hoodie. There is plenty swing room, but it also has a skintight feel, which gives you the feel of an athlete.
The Puma Boulder 2.0 Crewneck is one of my favourite pieces of clothing this Autumn and Winter. It is so comfortable to begin with, and that is one of the most important features of golf clothing. It needs to be comfortable, and although this product would probably be no good in the rain due to the fabric, it will keep you warm and can be accompanied by a larger jacket.
The style of the top is good. It has a textured double-knit jacquard finish, and you will appreciate this feel as soon as you slip into it. Puma has mastered the crewneck with this item, and it should prove to be popular. £55.00 is very reasonably priced too, in a market where clothing can reach astronomic heights in terms of price.
Similar to my approach to mitts, I have also been ambivalent to base layers in the past. I have found them too tight, and I would much rather wear thicker layers, as opposed to using one of these skintight numbers to keep warm. However, the Puma Cloudspun Tech Baselayer has a very athletic feel. I felt like an athlete while I was wearing (I crashed back down to earth when I started playing golf).

I must say, the top of it where you slot in your head is tight and it required a bit of force to get through. But, this was the only downside to wearing this baselayer. It was a pleasant surprise and a feeling of golf clothing that I haven’t had for a while. It isn’t overpriced either, which is never a bad thing.
The Puma Softshell Trousers are extremely comfortable. They might even be too roomy, which isn’t a problem, but it might become a problem if you play golf on a blustery day. Don’t play golf in the wind, then. But that’s tough in the Winter. Anyway, I got these in navy which looked really smart. Navy and black are my two favourite colours when it comes to golf clothing, so Puma ticked a box for me here.
There is a zip-pocket on each side. There are main pockets, but the zipped ones appear alongside which are useful for storage of tees and other things that stab the tips of your fingers. Some golfers might find this a bit fiddley and might not use the zip pockets at all. That isn’t Puma’s fault though.
£75.00 might be a bit steep for some golfers looking to spend a little less in this market, but they are still comfy, smart and a solid product.
This Puma Cloudspun Fleece Hybrid Jacket is a really solid piece of clothing, and I can see it becoming a staple of my golf wardrobe for many Autumns and Winters to come. The material is extremely solid and sturdy. It kept me very warm when I had it on walking the fairways. It also had a snug feel to it, and this is more than welcome in the colder months when snugness is at its most important.

The smart black look is great. I am very dull when it comes to my favourite colours in golf clothes, especially in the winter. So a black jacket speaks to me loud and clear. I don’t think this is a horrifically priced jacket either. You can’t expect to pay less than £80.00 for a top-quality golf jacket, and one that makes you feel warm and secure. Like I say, this is a very solid piece of golf clothing that will not do you wrong in the coming weeks and months.
I have become a huge fan of golf gilets, and I am a massive fan of the Puma Cloudspun Tech Hybrid Gilet. It is cosy, tight and I just love the way you can lock into a gilet on the golf course. You can slot your hands into the pockets, the well-insulated, nice pockets, and navigate the golf course in comfortable fashion. You can get hold of this gilet in black or navy too, which I think are the best colours for golf clothes in general, and especially in the Autumn and Winter.
One issue I would point out is the price. Some golfers will not want to pay £70.00 for a gilet. You can’t really blame them either, but if you are looking for a premium piece of golf clothing, you will not be found wanting even if you are paying this premium price.
It is hard to get away from the fact that some golfers won’t like this colour scheme. The outlandish design of this Cloudspun Garden Polo won’t appeal to the masses and to be honest, it doesn’t appeal to me. It would definitely suit your wardrobe if you’re off on a golf trip to a summery location and you’re with a group of friends. You might feel a bit more daring in that sense.
Anyway, the material and fabric have a nice feel and that is the main thing. It is roomy and light and there are absolutely no constraints on your body when it comes to tightness or discomfort. If you can get past the design, then this is a very good and very reliable piece of clothing that will perform as well as any polo you have in your golfing wardrobe.
I really liked the colour scheme of this Puma Cloudspun Tech Hybrid Golf Quarter-Zip. The cross between light blur and navy blue is really pleasing to look at and even better to wear. Puma has absolutely nailed it in this regard, and this will prove a staple of my wardrobe in the coming months. It won’t keep you that dry in the harshest conditions, but I don’t think that it is meant to. It guarantees style with some substance and warmth.
The padded style around the breast area felt a little tight when I first put it on, but this was a small inconvenience, and it didn’t restrict my swing or take away from my performance. This is a really solid bit of kit and I am a sucker for a smart quarter-zip. If you are too, then this is exactly what you should be looking for.

I am a huge fan of the DRYLDL Rain Pant, and it will be easy to understand why when you get your own hands on them.
The black colour compliments the DRYLDL Rain Jacket very well. It is very smart, and they are very protective in wet and cold weather conditions.
Naysayers might argue the bottoms are too flappy and loose, which could be a problem in the wind while playing golf in poorer conditions in the winter. But this possible downside shouldn’t take away from the protectiveness of the waterproof trousers, which I cannot praise enough for their use and doing exactly what it says on the tin.
They go over the top of golf pants and shorts perfectly and I really like how the pockets have protective covers, keeping everything that is in them warm, dry and safe.
When wearing a full waterproof suit, you will feel ready and solid in your swing and walking around the golf course in tough conditions.

This DRYLBL Men’s Golf Rain Jacket is a brilliant golf jacket.
I don’t really see how or why you would ask for anything else in a golf jacket.
It keeps rain out, and also the cold. The outer surface of the rain jacket is the perfect defence to wet penetration, but the rain jacket is also roomy and extremely breathable. Naysayers could argue that the jacket doesn’t fit tight to your body and the colour is just black, both of which are probably true. But I felt safe, secure and comfortable while wearing this on the golf course, so how could I ask for anything else?
Together with the waterproof bottoms, this combination makes me feel ready and prepared for winter golf. Protection is at a premium with this golf jacket and I would certainly recommend it to my fellow large men’s golf jacket wearers.
