With the compiling of the Welsh list for 2024 at its end, where do our panellists want to visit next in this spectacular golfing country?
Our individual panellists will not have played every course on the new Welsh list, meaning that there are some courses that they want to get to as soon as they can!
From courses at the very top of the NCG Top 100s: Wales list, to those hidden gems that might not have been properly seen yet, our panellists have a wide range of choices.
Royal Porthcawl – which sits at the top of the NCG Top 100s: Wales list – is at the top of some of our panel’s list, but where else do they want to play next in Wales?

Which courses do our panellists believe should be higher?
Dan Murphy: To my shame, I still haven’t visited North Wales. I have heard some great things about Clyne recently. I will go and see both for myself.
Neil Gray: Aberdovey – I’ve heard a lot about it over the years and was very disappointed that my trips to Wales this year didn’t allow it.
Sean Arble: I was quite taken by St David’s City and hope the original Braid 9 holes could be just as compelling.
Jim Banting: Royal St David’s – So many fond memories and a layout which tests golfing ability and mental strength in equal measure.
Ed Battye: A return visit to Royal Porthcawl is the highest priority.
Peter Rudd: I would like to explore more of the courses further south such as Tenby.
Greg Webber: I missed out on Welshpool, Prestatyn and the Cardiff courses this time and would like to play them.
Chris Myatt: A return to Royal Porthcawl and also a visit to its near-neighbours Pyle & Kenfig and Southerndown.
David Walker: Northwest Wales to return to some old favourites and discover any new hidden gems.

Alex Frolish: Royal St David’s, Aberdovey, Neath and Welshpool.
Mike Robertson: I still haven’t made it to Royal Porthcawl, criminally.
