The Old Petty Course at Cabot Highlands is one of the newest golf courses in Scotland, but how do you get to play the eagerly anticipated Tom Doak design?
The Old Petty Course has become the second 18-hole layout at the venue, located in the Scottish Highlands. It has joined the Castle Stuart Course, which played host to the Scottish Open on the DP World Tour for a number of years.
The new layout at Cabot Highlands sits next to the historic Old Petty Church, which gives the course its name. You can also enjoy views of the 400-year-old Castle Stuart from the majority of holes as well.
The course has been designed by Tom Doak and Clyde Johnson, ensuring it is a layout that blends into the natural surroundings seamlessly.
Although there was the opportunity to play it during the preview window in August and September 2025, the Old Petty Course only opens properly at the start of May 2026.
