Want to play amazing golf in England, but for less than £100? The NCG Top 100s Tour has you covered…

Prestbury GC England Top 100 under £100

There are plenty of different types of golf in England, and you can play all of these incredible venues for less than £100 on the NCG Top 100s Tour!

England is the home to some incredible golf courses, with a cracking mixture of links layouts around the coast, along with the inland selection of parkland, moorland and heathland tracks.

Admittedly, as we move into 2026, if you want to play at major venues or championship courses, then you might have to spend a bit more.

However, there are some gems that will still cost you under £100 in England, and there are several of those on the NCG Top 100s Tour schedule for the year!

Whatever your favourite type of golf in England, we have compiled a list of venues that you can play for under £100 on the NCG Top 100s Tour here…

Which venues on the NCG Top 100s: England list can you play for less than £100?

Thorpeness

As with a number of other courses in the English top 100, Thorpeness is not just a golf course. It is also a fully-fledged resort, offering players the chance to spend the night in the ‘House in the Clouds’. A proper golf course, and a great place to stay as well!

  • Book your spot to play at Thorpeness on the NCG Top 100s Tour on April 8th, 2026 here.
  • You can play at Thorpeness as part of our Suffolk Swing, which also incorporates an event at Woodbridge (Heath) as well.

St Annes Old Links

One of three cracking courses in a two-mile radius, St Annes Old Links was the original home of its Open Championship-hosting neighbour. Today, it remains a fantastic links layout, with the ideal line off the first tee being straight at Blackpool Tower in the distance.

  • Book your spot to play at St Annes Old Links on the NCG Top 100s Tour on April 17th, 2026 here.
  • You can play at St Annes Old Links as part of our Fylde Coast Swing, which also incorporates events at Fleetwood, Fairhaven and Royal Lytham & St Annes.

Dunstanburgh Castle

Situated on the northeastern coastline of England, Dunstanburgh Castle is one of several stunning links courses in the region. What sets Dunstanburgh out from the rest is the views from the top of the ridge, looking down over the course from the 6th tee. There’s also the glorious par 3 13th at the far end of the course, in the shadows of the castle itself.

  • Book your spot to play at Dunstanburgh Castle on the NCG Top 100s Tour on April 21st, 2026 here.

Lindrick

Lindrick is one of several stunning venues in South Yorkshire, but it is the only course in the region that can say it has hosted the Ryder Cup. It did so in 1957, as Dai Rees captained Team GB&I to a famous victory. The venue, which sits just outside Sheffield, has also hosted the Women’s British Open, and both the British Masters and Martini International on the European Tour. The Curtis Cup and the Women’s Amateur Championship are among the other events that Lindrick has been a proud host of.

  • Book your spot to play at Lindrick on the NCG Top 100s Tour on April 23rd, 2026 here.
  • You can play at Notts Golf Club (Hollinwell) and Lindrick as part of our South Yorkshire & Nottinghamshire Swing, which also incorporates an event at Hallamshire.

Bude & North Cornwall

The great Harry Vardon held the course record at Bude & North Cornwall for many years, and you can follow in his footsteps today on a layout that has barely changed. It might not be your typical links course, but it is one that you will truly enjoy!

  • Book your spot to play at Bude & North Cornwall on the NCG Top 100s Tour on April 28th, 2026 here.

Royal North Devon

Founded in 1864, Royal North Devon can lay claim to being the oldest golf club in England. It plays as tough as many of the finest venues in the country, and new holes that have been introduced in recent years have taken the scorecard to past 7,000 yards.

  • Book your spot to play at Bude & North Cornwall on the NCG Top 100s Tour on April 29th, 2026 here.
  • You can play at both Bude & North Cornwall and Royal North Devon as part of our South West Swing, which also incorporates events at Saunton (East) and Saunton (West).

Sutton Coldfield

Another layout in the glowing repertoire of Dr Alister MacKenzie, the current version of Sutton Coldfield was opened in the 1930s. It has become one of the greatest inland layouts in England, with both narrow and wide holes to provide a great mixture of parkland golf.

  • Book your spot to play at Sutton Coldfield on the NCG Top 100s Tour on May 12th, 2026 here.

Sherwood Forest

A sublime and picturesque inland course in the heart of Nottinghamshire, Sherwood Forest is one of those venues that all golfers want to play. Another venue that can boast about Harry Colt and James Braid as the men to have designed and worked on the course throughout its history.

  • Book your spot to play at Sherwood Forest on the NCG Top 100s Tour on May 14th, 2026 here.
  • You can also play at both Sutton Coldfield and Sherwood Forest as part of our Midlands Swing, which also incorporates an event at Edgbaston.

Isle of Purbeck

A course with some of the finest views in England, Isle of Purbeck is also one of the best golfing venues in the south of the country. The great Harry Colt designed the layout, which winds its way through a nature reserve.

  • Book your spot to play at Isle of Purbeck on the NCG Top 100s Tour on June 3rd, 2026 here.
  • You can also play at Isle of Purbeck as part of our South Coast Swing, which also incorporates events at Stoneham and Broadstone.

Seacroft

Dating back to 1895, Seacroft is the leading links course in Lincolnshire. Although not right by the eastern coastline of the United Kingdom, thanks to the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve between the course and the North Sea, it is a proper links track with firm soil and great greens.

  • Book your spot to play at Seacroft on the NCG Top 100s Tour on June 15th, 2026 here.
  • You can play at Seacroft as part of our East Midlands Swing, which also incorporates events at Woodhall Spa (Hotchkin), Belton Park and Luffenham Heath.

Cleeve Hill

When it comes to hilltop golf in England, there isn’t many better venues than Cleeve Hill. It is the finest golf course in Gloucestershire, with Old Tom Morris designing the original layout. Blind shots with marker posts – often a staple of links venues – are found often at Cleeve Hill, but that is all part of the fun!

  • Book your spot to play at Cleeve Hill on the NCG Top 100s Tour on June 29th, 2026 here.
  • You can play at Cleeve Hill as part of our Gloucestershire Swing, which also incorporates an event at Minchinhampton (Old).

Crowborough Beacon

With a history dating back to the late 19th Century, Crowborough Beacon is one of the oldest venues in Sussex. The course was designed by the great Dr Alister MacKenzie, and thanks to its location high above the county, it offers great views throughout.

  • Book your spot to play at Crowborough Beacon on the NCG Top 100s Tour on July 15th, 2026 here.
  • You can play at Crowborough Beacon as part of our Sussex Swing, which also incorporates events at Piltdown and West Sussex.

Perranporth

James Braid designed the links at Perranporth, one that remained the same ever since. The club will celebrate its centenary in 2027, at the southwestern most of the 100 golf courses on the NCG Top 100s: England list.

  • Book your spot to play at Perranporth on the NCG Top 100s Tour on July 27th, 2026 here.
  • You can also play at Perranporth as part of our Cornwall Swing, which also incorporates events West Cornwall and Trevose.

Prestbury

A Harry Colt classic that celebrated its centenary a couple of years prior, Prestbury is one of the best golf courses in and around the city of Manchester. Tree-lined fairways, plenty of undulations and a set of cracking short holes add to the charm of this venue.

  • Book your spot to play at Prestbury on the NCG Top 100s Tour on August 20th, 2026 here.

Cavendish

Like Prestbury, Cavendish is a club that has recently celebrated its centenary, and was designed by one of the greats. Dr Alister MacKenzie was the man behind the layout at this Derbyshire venue, with Cavendish being described as the ‘Inspiration for Augusta’.

  • Book your spot to play at Cavendish on the NCG Top 100s Tour on August 21st, 2026 here.
  • You can play at both Prestbury and Cavendish as part of our South Manchester Swing.
