Cameron Young is one of the best players on the PGA Tour and up until August 3rd 2025 he was yet to bag a PGA Tour win. However, further to his victory at the Wyndham Championship by 6 shots, he finally became a PGA Tour winner – in fact, the 1000th first time winner!
Young had finished second seven times before finally securing the first Tour victory – most notably at The 150th Open Championship at St Andrews in 2022 and he was tied for eighth the following year at Royal Liverpool on Merseyside. Though he missed the cut at Royal Portrush in 2025 he did finish tied 4th at the US Open.
