Watch star hit ‘Happy Gilmore putt’ at US Senior Open
Tim Petrovic might not be a name you’re familiar with, but he’s probably just sealed the prize for putt of the year after an epic hole out during day three of the US Senior Open.
In another shot that needs to be seen to believed, Petrovic had a lengthy putt to save par on par-3 11th at Saucon Valley, but after hitting the stroke, appeared like he’d massively misjudged the effort when it went flying past the hole.
Then, the incredible.
Go on then, let’s take a look…
Happy Gilmore, eat your heart out!
“That is some creativity,” hailed the commentatry team as Petrovic celebrated the putt of the year candidate.
Despite the feat, the PGA Tour Champions star carded a 5-over 75 on day three at Saucon Valley, but the ridiculous effort will surely feature in every ‘epic putts’ montage for the foreseeable future.
