Social Spotlight: Justin Thomas continues hot streak
Sergio Garcia makes a big announcement, Justin Thomas continues his hot streak and Rory goes on an adventure..
Sergio Garcia already has his biggest win of 2017
Just before his 37th birthday, Garcia posted on Twitter that he and girlfriend Angela Akins will make 2017 a year to remember. Yes, he’ll still be chasing that down elusive Major Championship, but he’s getting married!
Some very exciting news for us! We are getting married this year! Thrilled to see what the future bring us! @TheAngelaAkins pic.twitter.com/l6gUIJkdA6

The pair will officially tie the knot ‘this year’, after dating for 18 months. The Mrs Garcia-to-be is a former Golf Channel reporter and college player at Texas University. Congrats to ‘El Nino’.
Rory McIlroy meets the real ‘Roar-ry’
McIlroy is one of the world’s hottest golfers on the planet at the moment. Screaming his head off and ‘ssh’-ing Patrick Reed after holing putt after putt at the 2016 Ryder Cup.
But, after this latest run-in with the real king of the jungle, McIlroy has been knocked off the top spot of the food chain. Watch his reaction!
We've had a trip of a lifetime to @londolozi over the last few days. This big guy came to say hello last night!! pic.twitter.com/VrjsTGjEum

The four-time Major Champion’s reaction is absolutely priceless. I’m not sure if it’s fear or just pure enjoyment, either way, the Northern Irishman makes the video!
Lee Westwood takes practising to new heights
With many of the stars of the European Tour making their return tournament play, at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship next week, Westy made a climate change.
Not a bad shot from 1,495 m above sea level! However, I’d bet a lot of money that Westwood won’t be sporting that onesie when he tees off in the heat next week.
The former World No. 1 even took the time to make some swing changes whilst up in Crans Montana.
We just hope that he manages to shoot in the sub-zero numbers in Abu Dhabi.
Tour player loses 32 balls in the wind
The Web.com Tour headed to the Bahamas to kick off the 2017 season, but the weather they were greeted with didn’t exactly say ‘Happy New Year’.
88 yards. Just a knock down 8-iron.
Gotta get creative with the wind in the Bahamas. pic.twitter.com/bdnQ55MmOR

After the first two days of play, the cut line was at +11, players had to endure 60mph winds and there were 5 rounds in the 90s. To top it off the scoring average was 76.160 for the week and someone managed to win it!

The elements were brutal. Greg Eason revealed an awful truth, he lost 32 golf balls in 36 holes! That’s like me in the weekly medal, prove that the conditions were truly abysmal.
"I started with 36 golf balls. I ended with four."@GregEasonGolf may have shot 91-95, but he didn't quit.
A lesson for us all. ? ? pic.twitter.com/TxwbYpU114
