Four superb models from the buggy experts

Patterson Products: Buggy pioneers

Patterson Products were the pioneers of the single-seat transportable golf cart, with the Trio 3-wheeled cart being the first successfully marketed Electric Ride-on vehicle.

Introduced in 1986, it is still the best-selling vehicle of its type in the market and this family-owned company has gained a reputation for its helpful and knowledgeable team.

Patterson Products are also supporters and suppliers to “Event Mobility” a charity who provide off-road vehicles for the outdoor events, such as County Fairs, Golf Tournaments, and The Royal Windsor Horse Show.

We guide you through four of their key products – there’s bound to be one to suit your needs and pocket.

The Original TRIO

The Patterson Trio takes the strain out of golf allowing you to complete your round in comfort, running quietly so you will not disturb your playing partners.

It is superbly engineered, allowing you to assemble or dismantle easily in under two minutes and can fit into a car boot. The Trio is designed for arduous use and will climb up steep hills.

The Trio Golf Cart helps you enjoy a full 18 holes of golf a day. Sit back and relax in the sprung seat, as you drive between holes, conserving your energy for when you really need it – playing your shot.

Forward and reverse gears give manoeuvrability. The Trio is stable, virtually maintenance free, and assembled in under two minutes.

So, if you need that extra help, and are interested in extending the enjoyment of your golfing life, this is for you.

The Trio Professional

This is a fairly new addition to the range of vehicles produced by Patterson Products.

Based on the proven format of the original Trio, the ‘Professional’ is an upgraded model designed for the heavy use and particularly suited to the rental market.

With wider, reinforced chassis, more powerful motors and driven by heavy-duty batteries, the professional is easily capable of two rounds of golf, on even the toughest course, between each battery charge.

The six-and-a-half inch wide tyres are kind to the course, while the sprung seat with arm rests, and electric drive provide superb comfort for the rider.

A further attraction in the design of the Eventer is that it allows for convenient transportation and storage.

Eventer 4

Launched in 2000, the Eventer off-road mobility cart is a dual-purpose machine designed in conjunction with the Event Mobility charity (hence its name).

The Eventer provides a mobility solution where traditional vehicles struggle to cope and has been extensively tested at various open air events.

With generous ground clearance, wide-turf tyres and a proven drive train based on the Trio golf cart, this vehicle is equally at home at the Windsor Horse Trials or the golf course, where Patterson Products golf cart expertise becomes apparent.

A further attraction in the design of the Eventer is that it allows for convenient transportation and storage, as the machine can be quickly dissembled and stowed in the boot of many cars, with the heaviest section weighing only 22Kg (approx 50lbs) and the ‘gel’ batteries being safe for transport.

Highlanders

Available in three and four-wheel format, the Highlander is designed for arduous use and will easily climb the steeper hill.

All Patterson’s vehicles have been superbly engineered allowing you to assemble and dismantle easily in under two minutes and they will fit into the boot of most family saloons.
