Who needs enemies? Legend accuses son of auctioning off major trophies
Gary Player has been forced to release a statement on social media after several trophies and pieces of memorabilia were put up for auction without his consent.
The most shocking part? The South African claims they’ve been placed on sale by none other than his son, Marc.
Taking to Twitter to drop the stunning bombshell, Player called out his son for trying to sell the precious items which “form part of my legacy”.
This isn’t the first time one of the Black Knight’s sons have come into the firing line for all the wrong reasons. You may remember Wayne Player received a lifetime ban from Augusta for attempting to advertise a golf ball during the Masters’ honorary starters ceremony.
