The Dane’s ace on the 12th levelled their match in the afternoon session, as they aimed to recover from a 4-0 whitewash in the Friday morning foursomes.

She played in the morning foursomes session alongside Charley Hull, but the pair were heavily beaten, losing 5&4 to Ally Ewing and Cheyenne Knight.

Pedersen is playing in the Solheim Cup for the third time in her career.

Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist is the only other golfer in history to have scored an ace in the Solheim Cup.

The Swede, who is also playing this week in Andalucia, made a hole-in-one exactly a decade ago at the Colorado Golf Club.
