Matthew Fitzpatrick claimed the ninth DP World Tour title in Scotland as he pocketed €774,583.92 from the 2023 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship prize money.
The Englishman had to wait for his victory following a weekend-long delay which saw the tournament reduced to 54 holes after adverse weather swept through Fife.
Due to the nature of all players still playing in the tournament when it concluded and no cut being made, the top 60 golfers in the final leaderboard received payouts.
It was a family affair as Fitzpatrick, alongside his mum Susan, were victorious in the Team Championship section of the tournament, which the 29-year-old received a further $50,000.
