The class of ’22: Meet this year’s LET Q-School graduates

From budding amateurs to national champions, we run through the players who qualified from Ladies European Tour Final Q-School ahead of 2023
 

Ladies European Tour Q-School is now done and dusted for another year. Final Stage Qualifying concluded at La Manga in Spain with five gruelling rounds taking place across the resort’s stunning North and South courses.

Vying to earn playing privileges for the upcoming 2023 LET season – which will feature a record-breaking total prize fund – 24 players eventually made it through Final Qualifying to attain a full card and punch their ticket to the European circuit.

The German pair of Polly Mack and Alexandra Försterling topped the pile at 15-under-par in a leaderboard which included a host of nationalities, junior champions and amateur stars.

The mark this year fell at 3-under, with a further 28 players below this line receiving category 16 status. Producing plenty of interesting stories once again, join us as we run through the LET Q-School graduates…

2023 LET Q-School Qualifiers

Polly Mack: -15

Age: 23
Nationality: Germany

Recent University of Alabama graduate. Finished T4 on her LET debut at the Amundi German Masters.

Alexandra Försterling: -15

Age: 23
Nationality: Germany

Runner-up at the 2021 European Ladies Amateur. Represented Europe in the 2014 Junior Ryder Cup.

Nastasia Nadaud (a): -14

Age: 18
Nationality: France

Finished 16th in the LET Access Series OOM. Won the Goteburg Open and German Girls Open in 2022.

Ana Belac: -13

Age: 25
Nationality: Slovenia

Won the 2020 Symetra Tour Player of the Year, becoming the first Slovenian to join the LPGA Tour.

Trichat Cheenglab: -11

Age: 27
Nationality: Thailand

Makes the jump from the LET Access Series for the first time. Inspired by her idol Atthaya Thitikul.

Albane Valenzuela: -10

Age: 25
Nationality: Switzerland

A two-time Olympian who finished runner-up at the 2017 US Women’s Amateur.

Emma Spitz: -10

Age: 22
Nationality: Austria

Had a prolific amateur career, topped off by winning The Amateur Championship in 2018.

Gabriela Ruffles: -8

Age: 22
Nationality: Australia

Won the US Women’s Amateur in 2019. Ruffles was also a teenage tennis star before committing to golf.

Kirsten Rudgeley: -6

Age: 21
Nationality: Australia

Qualifies after turning pro earlier this year. Won the 2021 English Women’s Amateur Championship.

Annabel Dimmock: -6

Age: 26
Nationality: England

A familiar name on the LET, Dimmock won her first and only title at the 2019 Jabra Ladies Open.

LET Q-School

Sophie Hausmann: -5

Age: 25
Nationality: Germany

Starred for the University of Idaho during her collegiate years. Joined the LET in 2020.

Emma Nilson: -5

Age: 28
Nationality: Sweden

Competed in the 2011 Junior Solheim Cup alongside Charley Hull and Leona Maguire.

Tereza Melecka: -4

Age: 24
Nationality: Czech Republic

Won the 2022 Aramco Team Series Sotogrande event alongside Jessica Korda.

Tiffany Arafi (a): -4

Age: 22
Nationality: Switzerland

Enjoyed a successful collegiate career at Coastal Carolina University. Triple Swiss amateur champion.

Maiken Bing Paulsen: -4

Age: 25
Nationality: Norway

A member of the LET since 2020. Recently finished T11 at the South African Women’s Open.

Amalie Leth-Nissen (a): -4

Age: 18
Nationality: Denmark

One of two left-handers to qualify, Leth-Nissen led in La Manga after round one. A member of the winning 2021 Junior Solheim Cup team.

Paz Marfa Sans: -3

Age: 23
Nationality: Spain

Former Michigan State star and the second lefty on our list.

Linnea Johansson: -3

Age: 29
Nationality: Sweden

Will compete on both the LET and LPGA Tour in 2023 after finishing T8 at LPGA Final Q-School.

Ladies European Tour

Aline Krauter: -3

Age: 22
Nationality: Germany

Won The Women’s Amateur Championship in 2020. Also earned an LPGA Tour card for 2023.

Madelene Stavnar: -3

Age: 22
Nationality: Norway

Won the 2022 Aramco Team Series London event. Earned her first LET card at just 16-years-old in 2017.

Lea-Anne Bramwell: -3

Age: 21
Nationality: Wales

Formerly of the Clutch Pro Tour and member of Wrexham Golf Club.

Louise Duncan: -3

Age: 22
Nationality: Scotland

Won The Women’s Amateur Championship in 2021 and finished T10 at the 2021 AIG Women’s Open.

Yuri Onishi: -3

Age: 25
Nationality: Japan

Graduates having competed on the LPGA Tour of Japan and LPGA Tour of Taiwan last year.   

Alessandra Fanali: -3

Age: 22
Nationality: Italy

Turned pro earlier this year. Finish T2 at the Italian Open, losing to Morgane Metraux in a playoff.

All 24 players will now have the opportunity to accept their Ladies European Tour status for 2023. The full LET Q-School leaderboard can be found here.
