You’ve been lucky in the ballot or have saved up to buy a package to attend the Masters. The next hurdle is working out exactly how to get to Augusta National.

Whether you’re travelling form the UK or elsewhere in the United States, NCG gives you all the details you need to find your way to Augusta National.

How to get to Augusta National

How to get to Augusta National

Augusta National Golf Club is five miles north of the town of Augusta, Georgia.

Augusta has its own airport to the south of the town and a little more than 13 miles from the golf club.

As you can imagine, flights into Augusta Regional Airport are rather hard to come by at this time of year.

The next best option is to fly to Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta, one of the United States’ busiest airports – and even if you were lucky enough to grab a spot on a flight to Augusta, chances are you will be connecting through Atlanta anyway.

From Atlanta your best option is to rent a car. It is a 149-mile drive to Augusta National, which will take around 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Assess your travel options way in advance of tournament week to ensure there are no hiccups when trying to get to the event.

Once you have arrived at Augusta, it would be ideal if you are staying in accommodation that is close enough for you to reach without driving, but if you must drive there is ample parking at the course – but you must get there early.
