Bryson DeChambeau is a unique golfer for many reasons. He hits it further than most players on the LIV Golf Tour and the PGA Tour, and he does it with equipment that not many other stars wield in their golf bags.

He ended his deal with Cobra at the end of 2022 and this was made most obvious when he put a TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus driver into play at the 2023 Saudi International.

But the tinkerer himself, the 2020 US Open champion, used a Krank Formula Fire driver when he shot his famous 58 in the final round of the LIV Golf Greenbrier event later that year.

“It’s a great driver,” he said. “It’s probably performed the best I’ve ever had in the past five years in professional golf for me.”

DeChambeau went into that event with not only a new Krank Formula Fire driver at 6˚, but he also put the Krank Fire fairway woods in his bag.

He has kept all these clubs in his bag for 2025.

The unusual set-up doesn’t stop there. Bryson also has a brand-new set of irons from Avoda and are a prototype set which has made custom clubs just for the American star. They are still one-length options, but that is the least crazy part of the build. The club heads were 3D-printed to Bryson’s design and then individually buffed and ground until the USGA deemed them as confirming.

Speaking to Golf Channel, he said, “It’s a speed thing… when I miss hit on the toe or the heel, it seems to fly a lot straighter for me, and that’s what has allowed me to be more comfortable over the ball.”

To complete the whole mix-up in his bag, DeChambeau has a set of Ping and LA Golf wedges. At the bottom of his bag, there is his LA Golf Bryson Proto putter.
