Harris English is a five-time PGA Tour winner and an American who has featured in a winning Ryder Cup side.

Born in the state of Georgia in 1989, English soon showed his ability in the game, winning several amateur tournaments, including the Southern Amateur. He turned professional after graduating from the University of Georgia, having already become only the third amateur to win on the Nationwide Tour.

He made the jump to the PGA Tour for the 2013 season, and won twice that year – at the FedEx St Jude Classic and the OHL Classic at Mayakoba. English has gone on to win five times on the PGA Tour, and nine times in total, with his most recent victory coming at the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open.

The American has also been part of a Ryder Cup team. He was a member of the record-breaking team that won 19-9 at Whistling Straits in 2021, qualifying for the team following his 3rd place finish at the US Open that year – his best major finish to date. That appearance came a decade after he had played in the Walker Cup at Royal Aberdeen.
