Already a two-time major champion in his mid-20s, Collin Morikawa is one of the brightest talents in golf right now.

Morikawa spent his collegiate career at the University of California, Berkeley. He won five times during his four year stint at Berkeley, winning the PAC-12 Conference Championship in 2019. He soon turned professional and made his debut on the PGA Tour at the RBC Canadian Open.

The American started his PGA Tour career with 22 made cuts in a row, and he secured his first victory in just his sixth start. Morikawa won the Barracuda Championship, which uses a modified stableford scoring system, by three points. He has gone on to win seven times as a professional, six of those coming on the PGA Tour.

Morikawa has two major titles to his name. He won the PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park in 2020, before then lifting the Claret Jug after winning the Open Championship at Royal St. George’s a year later. At the end of 2021, he had won 3.5 points from a possible 4 in his Ryder Cup debut and won the DP World Tour’s season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. He then featured at a second Ryder Cup in 2023.
