Megan Khang: Player Profile

Who is Megan Khang?

Megan Khang is a three-time Solheim Cup player, LPGA Tour winner and one of the best American players in the game right now.

Khang was born in Brockton, Massachusetts in 1997 and her father was the person that got her into golf. She chose not to go to college, instead turning professional at the age of 18 in 2015. She had already won three times at the Connecticut Women’s Open, winning all three as an amateur.

She graduated to the LPGA Tour for the 2016 season, and in doing so, she made history. Khang became the first woman to play on the LPGA Tour from Hmong and Laotian descent. She had to wait 191 starts for her first victory, which came at the CPKC Women’s Open in 2023.

The 2023 edition of the Solheim Cup was Kang’s third appearance in the competition, and her third successive appearance for Team USA, having also played in 2019 and 2021.
