Here is the prize money breakdown for the 2023 Fortinet Championship on the PGA Tour
The Fortinet Championship is playing host to some of the PGA Tour’s biggest stars this week at Silverado Resort.
Justin Thomas, Max Homa and Sahith Theegala are set to walk the fairways of the North Course in Napa, in pursuit of the winner’s prize of $1.512 million.
Matt Kuchar and Brendon Todd are also playing in what promises to be another exciting week in the fall period of the PGA Tour season.
It is an important time of the season for players who didn’t earn a FedEx Cup Playoff place and who now require points to qualify for limited-field events in 2024.
The total prize money payout in California this week is $8.4 million – the same total as the Cadence Bank Houston Open and the Honda Classic.
Thomas and Homa will be looking to find some form in the last PGA Tour event before the Ryder Cup at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Italy.
Homa is the defending champion and is looking to win the Fortinet Championship for the third time in a row. He capitalised on a 72nd-hole catastrophe by Danny Willett last year to win his fifth PGA Tour title.
