Nacho Elvira claimed a one shot victory over Daniel Hillier to pick up his third DP World Tour title at the Dubai Invitational to kick off the 2026 season in style.
The Spaniard fended off Sunday charges from major winners in Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry. It was his first win since 2024 at the Soudal Open.
His only other win came at the Cazoo Open in 2021, which was his first taste of victory on tour in his 195th attempt.
