Jodi Ewart Shadoff

Jodi Ewart Shadoff fact file

Name: Jodi Ewart Shadoff

Date of birth: 07/01/1988

Place of birth: Northallerton

Nationality: English

Height: 5’5″

Turned professional:  2010

Biggest achievement

Jodi Ewart Shadoff

It is undoubtedly helping Europe to an emphatic victory over the USA in the 2013 Solheim Cup in Colorado.

Ewart Shadoff secured two points as she helped Europe retain the Solheim Cup for the first time thanks to an 18-10 win, the largest margin of victory in the competition’s history.

The current world No 59 and her foursomes partner Catriona Matthew lost 3&2 on the Friday to Morgan Pressel and Jessica Korda.

However, Ewart Shadoff followed that up with a 2 up win alongside Charley Hull in the Saturday forbids against Paula Creamer and Lexi Thompson.

Ewart Shadoff capped off a memorable tournament by beating Major champion Brittany Lincicome 3&2 in the bottom half singles matches.

Biggest disappointment

She endured a disappointing 2015 season, going from 74th in the world rankings to 206th by the end of the year.

However, she bounced back in 2016 to end the year 59th.

Team player?

An excellent debut in the 2013 Solheim Cup would suggest so, but there is a lot more evidence of her team skills.

She represented Great Britain and Ireland at the 2008 Curtis Cup, which ended in a loss against the United States.

She was also a member of the Great Britain and Ireland team which tasted defeat to Continental Europe in the 2009 Vagliano Trophy.

However, she did help England finish tied-3rd in the country’s first appearance in the International Crown.

An example of her magic on the course

This is just ridiculous…
