There have now been over 100 winners of women’s majors since 2001, but how many them can you correctly guess on our quiz?
2001 saw the start of the third era when it comes to women’s major championships.
The Women’s British Open (now due to sponsorship, the AIG Women’s Open) became a major in the women’s game that year, joining the Kraft Nabisco Championship (now Chevron Championship), LPGA Championship (now Women’s PGA Championship) and US Women’s Open.

12 years after that, the Evian Championship (now Amundi Evian Championship due to sponsorship) became the fifth women’s major, and since then, the five major championships have been played each year.
In 2024, the schedule for the five women’s majors has changed slightly due to the addition of the Olympic Games in Paris to the calendar.
The Chevron Championship remains the first major of the season, with the US Women’s Open, Women’s PGA Championship, Amundi Evian Championship and AIG Women’s Open to follow, the latter coming after the Olympics.
