The event will be held at Maridoe Golf Club, which is a private golf club in Carrollton, Texas.
The course is believed to represent the landscape of Texas. Steve Smyers is the architect who has been behind the designs of Isleworth and Old Memorial. He also worked with firm designer Patrick Andrews on this par 72 that can reach 7,800 yards.
Maridoe will host the ninth event of the LIV Golf season. As per usual, in each LIV Golf event, the stars will be out, and it is the same roster of stars playing each week, including Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed, Cameron Smith, Tyrrell Hatton, Joaquin Niemann and Sergio Garcia.

How does LIV Golf work?
There are 13 regular LIV Golf events in the 2025 season with a team championship finale at the end in Michigan. At each event, there is an individual competition and a team competition.
The top 24 golfers on the 54-man leaderboards will score points. The top eight teams on the 13-team leaderboard score points. To no one’s surprise, the player with the lowest stroke play score after 54 holes wins the event.

In the team format, all players’ scores in each four-man team count for all three days of the event. Before 2025, only the top three scores from each team counted for the first two days, and all four counted for the final round.

The Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, a sovereign wealth fund that is racing towards a trillion dollars in worth, is the primary investor of LIV Golf.
